Writing retreats for PhD students

NEW: Writing retreats for PhD students

What’s behind this?

Finding time for writing as well as peace and quiet is one of the biggest challenges PhD students face. In our SchreibCamp, you can focus on your thesis in a supportive environment without distractions. Two writing consultants who are also PostDocs will be there to provide guidance and individual writing consultations if and when you need them.

When and how?

We will begin the writing retreat together at 2p.m. on the first day and then work individually on our theses until dinner. This will be followed by informal conversations and networking, or you can continue to write into the night. You are free to use the second day and the morning of the third day for writing on your own, but there is also the possibility to take part in group work and have an individual writing consultation. We will close the retreat at 11 a.m. on the third day, which is when you can define how you are going to continue to write your thesis.
