In the summer semester of 2024, we are developing a course for both new and trained writing tutors who want to offer writing consultations in English as well as on English texts.

For more than ten years, SchreibCenter has been offering Weiterbildung Schreibberatung , an intensive course in writing tutoring. This course is open to students and others, yet it requires a very good command of German.

With the Writing Tutor Training, we want to offer an alternative with English as the medium of instruction: The Training enables students without the sufficient German language skills to work as writing tutors and thus support their fellow students in their academic writing.

The pilot is running from April to July, with follow-up sessions planned for the winter semester. If you are interested in joining subsequent rounds, please contact Ute Henning.
