We are the central point of contact for academic work, writing and reflection. We support students and researchers in developing and professionalising their reading and writing skills as well as in their academic work – with and without AI. We understand and teach writing as a sustainable resource for academic integrity, personal reflection and knowledge gain.
We need your voice: Join us in writing for democracy and use your voice to promote democracy, freedom, diversity and dignity.
We are part of the student health management programme betterTUgether, a network at TUDa that provides a wide range of services to help you study while maintaining your health – from sports and nutrition to mental health. At SchreibCenter, we help you with your academic work through our consultations, workshops and marathons. We also offer various workshops on healing, creative and autobiographical writing and journaling.
For first-generation students, i.e. those who are the first in their family to study, we have developed our own writing workshop, ‘Writing for better opportunities’, which will take place again in the summer semester of 2026.
